Focus of the week:
Watering
“Just as the water reflects the stars and the moon, the body reflects the mind and the soul.” Rumi
Welcome the rain to soften and nourish the earth. Nurture your energy and body, especially when your mind is troubled. With spring showers in full swing, this week we’ll be embracing the rain and using our breath to water the seeds we plant inside for things to come. Seeds of ideas and dreams that start to grow.

Focus of the week: Blooming
“Yesterday is gone and it's tale is told. Today new seeds are growing.” Rumi
This week we'll be dancing with the idea of daring to be present. We can get so caught up with what we've learnt- about ourselves, others, and what we expect from life. This instinct to keep ourselves safe is wonderful as it keeps us alive (stops us being eaten by bears!), but sometimes in modern life that can lead to stagnation and a feeling of being stuck. Through our yoga practice today I'll be guiding you to throw caution to the wind and experience each new moment as it comes- the biggest shifts can start with the smallest moment.

Focus of the week:
The Centre Will Hold
“At the centre of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want.” Rumi
This week we'll be connecting with the sensation of knowing yourself in your core. No matter the simplicity or complexity of what is going in the outside world, the centre will hold. Flowing through breath and movement to connect that inner-knowing with your physical body and your mind. Especially with injury or aches and pains, it can sometimes feel like that defines who we areit's only a part of what is happening with your body at this moment in time, not the core of you. The centre will hold!?

Focus of the week: Inspiration
“Stay close to anything that makes you glad you are alive.” Hafiz
This week I'll be focusing on the feeling of Inspiration. When the weather is still grey and cold and we wait for spring to begin, it's useful to remind ourselves of what sparks us up. Inspire comes from the Latin word Inspirare, to breathe. Throughout the class we'll be using our breath as the key to unlocking inspiration, staying close to things that make us feel glad to be alive.

Focus of the week:
Creative Flow
“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.” Rumi
This week we'll be exploring the idea of creative flow. We are all creative- as human beings we spend our lives creating every day, from choosing which food to cook, music to listen to and clothes to wear. Throughout the class we'll be using breath and movement to journey into the 'flow' state.
The sweet spot that artists talk about when they perform or create is accessible to all of us, and this practice will help guide you to experience that feeling in your body. To unleash creation, everything starts with awareness.
